Product Overview
Made in Canada.
Three in the box.
The M1-1056, for furnaces and A/C systems that take a 15 3/8 x 25 1/2 x 5 1/4. MERV 11, and the best value we sell in this size.
The original, not a copy
This is the genuine Five Seasons M1-1056, the same filter that came with your system. Not an aftermarket look-alike.
It's made in Canada, which matters more than it sounds. A filter this size has to sit square in the slot, and a frame that's a quarter inch off lets air slip past instead of through.
HVAC contractors keep using it for that reason. It fits, every time.
Is this your filter?
Fits furnaces and A/C systems that take an M1-1056. Pull the old filter out and read the edge. If it says any of these, you're in the right place.
- M1-1056
- Carrier M1-1056
- AMP M1-1056
- Totaline P102-1625
Real size: 15 3/8" x 25 1/2" x 5 1/4"
(39.1 x 64.8 x 13.4 cm)
Sold as a 16x25x5 by most brands.
It fits furnaces and A/C systems from these brands, and any other with the same size:
- Amana
- Carrier
- CinQuartz
- Coleman
- ElectroAir
- Five Seasons
- Totaline
- York
Measure before you order. Filters this size are sold under a lot of different names, and a quarter inch matters. Take a tape to your old one and compare it to the numbers above.
Not sure? Call (888) 315-0105. We do this all day, and we'd rather you order once than twice.
What it catches
MERV is just a score for how much a filter holds back. Higher number, more caught. This one is a MERV 11.
- House dust, and the dust you stir up cleaning
- Pollen
- Pet dander
- Mould spores
- Dust mite debris
- Common allergens
Not sure what the numbers mean? Here's MERV explained in plain English.
When to change it
Every 4 to 6 months. Three in the box gets you through a year and a half or so.
Pets, a dusty house or a renovation, and you'll be at the shorter end. If your thermostat fan runs on ON instead of AUTO, air moves through it all day and it fills up sooner.
Want to change it half as often?
The same slot takes the Camfil M1-1056, which Camfil rates for a full 6 months. It also ships the same business day when you order before 11 a.m. Eastern.
Same size, same fit, a bit more per box. Two changes a year instead of three.
Which way it goes in
There's an airflow arrow printed on the frame. Point it toward your furnace, the way the air travels.
Backwards, it clogs faster and catches less. Not sure which way the air moves? Here's which way a furnace filter goes in.
